Dearest Colleen,
I am sorry I haven't been on in awhile. My Mom is in a nursing home and I go to pick up my father everyday and take care of him, regarding his meds, and the whole 9 yards. Than I take him to the nursing home and I feed my Mom everyday. It is wearing and I am exhausted on a daily basis. Always remember you are always in my thoughts & prayers always.

Hi Colleen
I wanted to thank you for visiting my mom's site & I want you to know that it is appreciated. I haven't been able to get on as much as I like. For the last few months we've been dealing with my mom's sister,,she has alzheimer's & now they found a tumor on her lung that tested positive for cancer. I have been given POA of her & trying to keep things going for her has taken up alot of time! I live in VA & she lives in NJ so it makes it harder. I'm driving up tomorrow to take her to the cancer dr monday. My aunt dosen't know,,,but after the dr tells her I don't know how she'll react. She wishes she was dead now,,,& we get very upset with her when she talks like that. My sister's & brother help me out but she hoarded for yrs,,,,takes after her father & my mom,,,& I'm finding bills that haven't been paid in awhile. Trying to figure out how to keep her home as long as I can. I'm leaving it in God's hands,,,
Again I would like to thank you & I do keep Patrick in my thoughts,,,

The great and sad mistake of many people...is to imagine that those whom death has taken, leave us. They do not leave us. They remain! Where are they? In the darkness? Oh, no! It is we who are in darkness. We do not see them, but they see us. Their eyes, radiant with glory, are fixed upon our eyes...Oh, infinite consolation! Though invisible to us, our dead are not absent...They are living near us, transfigured...into light, into power, into love.
