Dear Colleen and Patrick,
I am wishing you a happy Memorial Day. Patrick I know you are with your Mom. Colleen, my pain will never leave me until I am reunited with Joey once again. Everyone says time will heal, I am sorry to say my pain and emptyness will be with me forever.
Colleen, if we were given a chance to be anything we wanted to become there's nothing we would rather be than Patrick and Joey's Mom, and there is no one we would rather have than our son's.
Sometimes in our lives we need reminders of how much people care, but when it came to our son's and their feelings, we always want them to remember this: I Love You Son. Beyond any words that can begin to even tell them. We hold them and their happiness within our heart, everyday. We are so proud and thankful for the years that they have given us. The love between us with our boys, only ever needed were just a few words.
Patrick, you must hear me everyday when I say my prayers, and you always will. Patrick, to your wonderful, Mom who has one of the biggest hearts and just the nicest person I have met through this site, I am so proud to call her my dearest friend.

A Mother's Day Wish From Heaven
Dear Mr. Hallmark,
I am writing to you from heaven,
and though it must appear
A rather strange idea,
I see everything from here.
I just popped in to visit,
your stores to find a card
A card of love for my mother,
as this day for her is hard.
There must be some mistake I thought,
every card you could imagine
Except I could not find a card,
from a child who lives in heaven.
She is still a mother too,
no matter where I reside
I had to leave, she understands,
but oh the tears she's cried.
I thought that if I wrote you,
that you would come to know
That though I live in heaven now,
I still love my mother so.
She talks with me, and dreams with me;
we still share laughter too,
Memories our way of speaking now,
would you see what you could do?
My mother carries me in her heart,
her tears she hides from sight.
She writes poems to honor me,
sometimes far into the night
She plants flowers in my garden,
there my living memory dwells
She writes to other grieving parents,
trying to ease their pain as well.
So you see Mr. Hallmark,
though I no longer live on earth
I must find a way,
to remind her of her wondrous worth
She needs to be honored,
and remembered too
Just as the children of earth will do.
Thank you Mr. Hallmark,
I know you'll do your best
I have done all I can do;
to you I'll leave the rest.
Find a way to tell her,
how much she means to me
Until I can do it for myself,
when she joins me in eternity.

Dear Patrick a beautiful angel,
Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I know in my heart that all of the beautiful angels will be with their Mom. I know your Mom will be needing and wanting to hug you. I know you are with her.
She misses and loves you so much. Patrick, as you grew up and became a man, I know your mom has so many strong reminder's of all the pride, love and so many hopes for you. She saw all the greatness within you.
Just by her writing to you and my Joey, she is and has the same feelings as I do. I am sure we were alot alike, when it came to our children and being your mom. There are no words that can even begin to tell you, how much happiness is within her heart each and everyday. If she had the chance to be anybody she wanted to be in this world, there is nothing more she would want to be, except being your mom.
Patrick, that is the only thing I would have choose, and that was being Joe's mom. I know we feel the same. I was so lucky to have had Joey in my life. I just do not know why you, Joey, and all of these other beautiful angels where taken to soon.
